Have you heard of Cerec one visit smiles?

It can be hard to find time for a dental issue such as replacing a crown, getting a dental implant to replace a missing tooth, or having veneers fitted. As a cosmetic dentist in Bromley, we know that procedures such as these can take multiple appointments, and that can mean a lot of time out of your busy schedule. This is where Cerec makes a difference at our cosmetic dentist in Bromley.

Cosmetic Dentist in BromleyIntroducing Cerec: digital, same day dental restoration technology

Cerec is a modern machine that we have here at Bromley Dental Practice. It allows complex dental procedures to be carried out in a single appointment, this includes crowns, veneers or onlays, which can be available on the spot and in very little time. No more waiting to have your dental implants or veneers crafted by technicians, no more temporary fixes whilst your permanent restorations are being made. Just one appointment, one permanent restoration.

How does Cerec work at the cosmetic dentist in Bromley?

Step 1

We will digitally scan your mouth with our small Cerec hand-held scanner. You will not feel any pain during this process. After the scan is complete we will be able to see a full colour, 3D image of your teeth.

Step 2

Next, we will use the Cerec digital port to design a perfect restoration for you. This restoration will be a perfect fit for your mouth in size, shape and colour. There should be no need to modify the restoration once it is in place. When your digital restoration is ready, we will send it to our Cerec milling machine. The milling machine will create your restoration from ceramic material right there and then whilst you are still there.

Step 3

Your restoration is ready. It has been precisely and digitally crafted to be a perfect fit and match for you. Now all we need to do is fit it into your mouth. The result? A natural-looking tooth restoration that nobody will be able to spot. It will look just like your own natural tooth. Your new restoration is durable and made of tooth–coloured ceramic to match your natural tooth structure, colour and shape.
